Cara Marsi has created a romance that speaks of forgiveness and second chances in a way that will make your heart warm. I fell in love with Tom Sackett for even though he is wealthy he doesn't care about money just Mary Beth. Now Mary Beth was a little hard to like for each time Tom made an effort she would step back. These two together are obviously still attracted and understand about Mary Beth's hesitation in believing him of his love again. Yet through it all Cara Marsi shows us that love can occur no matter how much you deny the love. The story was sweet and though it is a reissue it still a favorite of mine. Great book and definitely can't wait for more from this talented author.

I so enjoyed this terrific love story that brings Tom and Mary Beth together. I loved Ms. Marsi's clever use of food descriptions when relating that to the rest of the story. I felt Mary Beth's hesitancy about giving her heart to Tom, but I also felt Tom's desire to rekindle the friendship ... and more ... that he hoped to have with the heroine. I love Ms Marsi's characters -- they're all well developed, with great character, along w/ bad guys we love to hate!
This is a fun book, in the same vein as Harlequin's PRESENTS series, that will have the reader closing the back cover (or clicking to the back cover) with a huge smile on her face. Bravo!
Quick simple romance. Nothing remarkable about the story besides a rich boy falling for a girl from the wrong side of the tracks separated by about 20 yrs after a misunderstanding at prom.
I loved reading A Catered Romance! Reunion stories, in my opinion, show wonderful potential for reignited emotions from the past and Cara Marsi doesn't disappoint the reader. Her sweet, passionate story will melt your heartstrings. I also loved the way she wove in the catered food with the storyline.
Love this book. Could not put it down once I started reading. The characters seemed real and I was anxious to find out whats going to happen next. Excellent plot.

I hoped for more but the ending was good!
The ending should have been the wedding thou and a beat down to the 2 jerks!
Mary Beth Kendrick, a caterer, is looking for some financial backing to keep her business afloat. Even though she’s against the idea, she accepts help from her ex-boyfriend Tom Sackett. She feels she can’t trust him because of an embarrassing incident that happened to her in high school. Tom has never forgotten Mary Beth. He knows he hurt her. Can he show Mary Beth that he can be trusted? Can he win her heart again? This love story was a nice surprise. It was quick and sweet. But, I wanted Mary Beth to stop vacillating and trust him. Sometimes I thought there could be one or two more plot twists.
Everything about A Catered Romance was nice but without any surprises. Mary Beth was extremely beautiful (of course) as well as an outstanding chef, devoted daughter, and best friend. Tom was a total hottie (naturally) in addition to being a shrewd, wealthy businessman, and a warmhearted and caring person. Mary Beth and Tom have loved each other since high school but, because of a misunderstanding and bad timing, neither one knew it. They came together 12 years later when Tom's company bought the controlling interest in Mary Beth's catering business. I was disappointed that Mary Beth vacillated back and forth with her feelings for Tom while waiting for him to take action instead of confronting him and demanding some answers. Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading this light, quick story and it was most definitely a romance, so I would recommend it to others.
